YOUR WEDDING DAY

Today is the first day, of the rest of your life,
Single, no more, but anotherís young wife.
Youíll be joined as one with the man of your dreams,
We wish you both happiness, in all marriage means.
The two of you spending, a life full of sharing,
And learning from this, the importance of caring.
Down the aisle, your dad at your side,
The groom patiently waiting, for his beautiful bride.
He will hand you, his daughter, to his new son in law,
With his heart full of love, for you, and much more.
Your mother will smile, through her happy tears,
Remembering the baby, you were, in those years.
Happiness is all, they wish upon you,
In the present and future, your whole life through.
This is a most, exciting day,
Exchanging vows, in all you say.
And sealing it with, those special kisses,
You will be legal, as mister and missus.
Enjoy your life, itís all ahead
From this day forward, this day you wed.
